I am an integrative psychotherapist with over 8 years of experience, offering compassionate and personalized therapy to clients worldwide. I believe the therapeutic relationship between a client and therapist serves as the foundation for a positive change. With a client-centered approach, I strive to create a nurturing, and safe space for clients to explore their emotions and experiences in a non-judgmental way. I help clients recognize and change their dysfunctional patterns that may have been helpful for them as a child but no longer serve them, breaking free from limiting belief systems and building a sense of empowerment.
As a trauma informed therapist, I believe trauma can disrupt the brain-body connection, a factor often overlooked in primary healthcare. This breakdown can profoundly impact well-being, fueling struggles with anxiety, depression, and trauma responses. As a trauma-informed therapist, I recognize the importance of addressing these gaps, helping clients reconnect with their bodies to foster both mental and physical healing.

My Approaches to Therapy
I work with both top-down approach as well as a bottom-up approach. I incorporate a range of therapeutic modalities tailored to each individual’s unique needs including humanistic approach, chair work, role-play, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), parts work, Transactional Analysis (TA), inner child work, and EMDR therapy.
- I emphasize on a change in lifestyle as our mind, body and soul are interconnected.
- I work with both top-down approach as well as a bottom-up approach. I support clients in developing routines that integrate mindfulness practices, grounding techniques, somatic practices for stress and trauma release, nervous system regulation exercises, trauma informed yoga and vagus nerve stimulation exercises.

Acknowledge that you need help and need therapy is first step towards healing which is scary in itself. I was in a very dark place when I started therapy with Saman last year. A person is at their most vulnerable and lowest when you sit in front of the therapist and try to articulate words to best describe ur state. Saman made this entire process so comfortable, and she made me feel safe at every step. Her body language her demeanour is very calming and kind. We have done some deep sessions and great breakthroughs, and she always ensured I am ready and cared about my well being. I have made some good progress and I can confidently say I am in much better place than where I was before I started therapy with Saman. She is really good at what she does and is very professional and personable. She always shows up for you and gives you that understanding that Therapy is a lot of work and takes effort. It's been three years I am working with Saman. The best thing I had done with her and still doing EMDR and IFS. She helped me to process me my unresolved childhood trauma and because of consistent EMDR therapy my autoimmune health issues getting better. She is empathetic and help me to be self compassionate with myself. Part work therapy helped me to get rid of my self sabotaging patterns. She helped me to see my blind spots. And I am more than satisfied with her work.
